We have 2 WHM hosts. 1 of them we have been using for years but because of more hosting we needed to add a second WHM host to host the websites. We want to use the same hostname but different sub. So this is the new situation:
1st server with cpanel has hostname: https://cpanel.hostname.com and has his own different IP
2nd server with cpanel has hostname: https://cp.hostname.com and has his own different IP
1st server is working with the SSL cert for a long time now. How do we setup the SSL on the second server? Because the domain hostname.com is an existing website hosted on the 1st server. We cannot setup SSL for the Host because you have to select a domainname, which is on the 1st server. Please help us out, how do we setup SSL for the second server.
I know it has to be a wildcard.
